Whisper’s hosting eUICC based SIM cards enable the use of the latest LTE(-A) based 4G and 5G cellular networks and their associated, evolving machine-to-machine (M2M) and IoT technologies. Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) such as NB-IoT, LTE-M are covered too. So are traditionally legacy 2G and 3G networks, while our SIM card technology is also fully compatible with the use of cellular routers.
Whisper’s hosting enables independent IoT connectivity management by providing you a wide range of options when it comes to establishing your enterprise’s own dedicated business portal. Optimised in order to suit your specific needs, this tailor made portal will allow you to remotely monitor and adjust usage of your mobile data SIM cards including relevant dashboards. Processes include:
Protected secure connectivity for all your enterprise devices – you can manage access point name (APN) authentication and security settings. When security is paramount the IPSec Gateway allows you to allocate SIM cards to self-managed virtual private network (VPN) services that deliver complex encryption and hashing algorithms. Optional redundancy by opting for multiple VPN tunnels is also available.
Whisper’s hosting IoT SIM cards work in much the same way as traditional SIMs: adaptable to all sizes used in standardized devices. They establish a connection, authenticate it and monitor and store relevant information. However, our eUICC SIM card technology allows for the remote over-the-air programming of mobile operator profiles on those same devices. This means data access can be generated in the local area, resulting in lower latency for instance. The GSMA standards based eUICC technology enables automatic seamless profile switching, hereby guaranteeing optimal network connectivity regardless of location. Available in mini, macro or nano size, or embedded.
